In the hours following a horrific shooting like Oregon, there an anxious wait for the identity of the shooter. And if you want any more evidence of the complete partisan nature this country has adopted, you need only watch and listen during these hours.

Groups with special interests hope that the shooter is of the belief system of their enemy so that they can use it to their advantage. White people hope the shooter was black. Black people hope the shooter was white. Gun control people hope the shooter is an NRA member. Republicans hope it’s a Democrat. Liberals hope it’s one of the Duck Dynasty people. Christians hope it’s an Islamic radical. Islamic radicals hope that it was an Islamic radical so they can claim responsibility. So many people are watching and waiting so that they can use this for their agendas. Because the fight is more important than the lives lost.

I’m truly tired of the nature and culture of the United States of America.

One of Obama’s cronies, Rahm Emanuel outed the American leadership and their nature very well when he said “You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

In America, agendas and politics matter more than human life. In America…

As I’ve written before. Christians ought to redouble their focus on the Kingdom of God instead. That Kingdom is eternal and it’s leader is just, loving and good. As America continues its decline, it is important for Christians to stand up for the Kingdom of God. As the Apostle Paul said in Romans 1, I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God to salvation to EVERYONE who believes. It is the job of the Kingdom dwelling Christians to get on God’s immigration plan and be lights in the darkness that is this world… that is America. If we don’t shine the light, who will.

Early reports indicate that the shooter in Oregon targeted Christians. Don’t be afraid when you are targeted by anyone or anything. As a Christian, you are a citizen of a much greater Kingdom and you server the most high God. Let’s not back down now. Let’s get downright patriotic about the Kingdom of God. If you spent the energy you put into the kingdom of America on the Kingdom of God instead… imagine the possibilities! Our lives in this kingdom are just a twinkling of an eye in the light of eternity. Let’s try to remember where our hearts should be focused!
